  1. I believe we have encountered a bug within Shavlik. After installing the update: “Internet Explorer 8 Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer” (974455), our machines still show that they need the patch after scanning them. Looking in the list of updates installed on the machine via add or remove programs in control panel reveals that the patch is installed on the machine. Please let me know if anyone else has encountered this. Thanks.
